Hi there !
I recently had the hip harness I built slipping during an inverted position. Unfortunately I have no picture. Not sure to which extent the harness could slip as we interrupted the position as soon as my model felt it slipped.
I guess this is probably due to a lack of tension but I'm not sure where. Can you maybe give some advice so the harness remains comfortable but does not slip? My guess is that this issue araises because off a lack of tension in the waistline (mainly) as it is the element that prevent slipping? Any advice would be welcome ! Thanks !
Hello,
Indeed this kind of issue will happen if there isn't enough tension in the waist line or in the lines connecting the waist line to the thigh lines !
Did you tie it again since this "incident"? With a different tension did you still have the same problem ?
Please keep me posted, and don't hesitate to follow up with this thread until we figure out how to solve your problem !
Hi ! You solved the issue during one of your workshop. Basically as you said the lines between the waist line and the thigh were not enough under tension. And as you said more generally the whole harness should be really tight (except maybe the thigh wraps) and then it does not bulge. Thanks!
Is it structurally safe to load an upline from the back of the hip harness (from the middle)?
