If you wish to get a little deeper into stretches and preparation/conditioning of your body before ropes,  these 3 yoga inspired sessions are exactly what you need !  

The sequences are separated in 3 levels (easy "for all", intermediate and advanced) and were designed by Rebecca Jackson especially for Shibari practitioners.

SEQUENCE 1 - EASY "FOR ALL" (20mn)
This yoga sequence is designed to cover the basics for shoulders, back and hips.
It is not a substitute for regular, varied exercise program but a start to get into your body and bring space and awareness to the areas you need and use during rope sessions.

SEQUENCE 2 - INTERMEDIATE (21mn)
Designed to give you a quick and thorough warm up, and allow you to observe what is happening today in the key areas of your body that you will use for ropes. This sequence will begin your work to prepare for torsions.

SEQUENCE 3 - ADVANCED (18mn)
Designed to give you a strong workout, to work your core and open your hips which prepares you well for backbends. Good in addition to the twists we did in the Intermediate Sequence for spinal health.

ALL SEQUENCES - FULL WORKOUT (47mn)
This video compresses all 3 sequences down to the bare essentials and takes you through a complete physical stretch and full workout to prepare your body for ropes. If this is your first practice with Rebecca's sequences you should first watch the versions with full explanations.
